The anti-virus provides protection for Internet Gateways on the bases of applications using the icap-protocol (proxy servers Squid, SafeSquid and Shweby) operated by Unix-based systems (Linux, FreBSD, OpenBSD and Solaris). It requires the Dr.Web Daemon for Unix. It scans for viruses incoming and outgoing HTTP/FTP traffic and allows to filter access to html-resources both by mime-type/size and by the host name.
The product is licensed per users working through the gateway. Minimal license is for 25 users.
