Description
Dr.Web for Unix mail servers is a unique modular solution for processing and filtering of incoming and outgoing traffic in mail servers under Unix-systems (Linux/FreeBSD/Solaris(x86). The solution can either be integrated into supported mail systems or run separately as SMTP-proxy, filtering e-mail traffic under SMTP/LMTP. Depending on the set of connected plug-ins it can filter e-mails for viruses and spam.

Supported OS and mail systems

  • Linux (glibc 2.2 or higher), FreeBSD v.v. 5.x, 6.x, Solaris v.10 (for Intel platform only).
  • CommuniGate Pro, Exim, Postfix, QMail, Sendmail.

  • vaderetro — spam-filtering plug-in
  • headersfilter — headers filtering plug-in
  • drWeb — anti-virus plug-in for scanning by Dr.Web anti-virus engine

  • Dr.Web Daemon (for anti-virus&anti-spam license only!!!)
  • Dr.Web console scanner for Unix
  • Set of anti-virus filters for Sendmail, Qmail, Postfix, Communigate Pro, Exim, ZMailer, Courier MTA

Licensing of SDK
SDK is distributed free of charge. Plug-ins developed on its base by third-party developers are free of charge for non-commercial distribution. For commercial distribution such plug-ins should be certified and it is subject to a charge. Contact us to discuss licensing of plug-ins.
